From humble beginnings, passion for all things artisanal, and persistence to make a difference, Ateliers Artea’s founder and CEO, Jeniffer, envisioned a company that curates talents from different fields of design, harnesses creativity from varying thought processes and builds dream projects for clients who share her regard for quality and sustainability. Thus, Ateliers Artea was born.

 

Educated under De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde, in partnership with the Philippine School of Interior Design; Jeniffer has also undertaken professional development courses at the Sotheby’s Institute of Art in New York, Central Saint Martins in London, and Harvard University in Cambridge.

 

With over 10 years of experience as an international interior designer, FF&E specialist, and art consultant, she has built a formidable reputation in the hospitality and high-end design industry in the Middle East.

 

Among her most revered projects, to date, is the 20-billion Qatari riyal and ‘World’s Most Sustainable Regeneration Development Project’, the Msheireb Downtown Doha in Qatar.

 

She has also been part of other iconic projects in Qatar, such as the Msheireb Museums, the Qatar Foundation International Golf Clubhouse, and the Amiri Diwan Headquarters. She took the helm of the site-wide interior design, FF&E, OS&E and artworks for the following luxury five-star hotels in the same development: the first Mandarin Oriental in the Middle East, the Park Hyatt Doha, and the M Gallery by Accor.

 

Prior to her move to Qatar, she had already established a strong career as an interior designer and FF&E specialist in Dubai, Singapore, and Manila; and as a retail luxury fashion buyer and business development specialist for iconic brands Versace, Balmain, Gianfranco Ferre, Hugo Boss, and Canali, to name a few.

 

Now that she has been granted the opportunity to go back to her other love, fashion and lifestyle, she and her siblings have developed Ateliers Artea’s luxury lifestyle brands: Amesiella, Sifr, Aspro, Aspro Home, Boutique Artea, and Sainte Marie des Perles.

 

Jeniffer is passionate about supporting emerging talents and artisanal designs from her homeland, the Philippines. She also recognizes the power of multi-cultural collaborations, maintains high regard for the environment, puts a premium on quality standards, and, most importantly, values human capital in every project she embarks on.
